Nutritious Meals for an Advanced Generation
The “Makan Bergizi Generasi Maju” Pilot Program is an initiative focused on improving access to and understanding of nutritious, safe, and balanced food, particularly for children and families. The program was implemented in Sleman and Bantul Regencies, Special Region of Yogyakarta, from July to December 2024.
The program was designed to support children’s nutritional needs through an integrated approach combining the provision of nutritious meals, nutrition education, increased family knowledge, and strengthened community and local stakeholder engagement. Through this approach, the program promotes healthy eating habits and raises awareness of the importance of adequate nutrition from an early age.
