The Save Water Provision and Sanitation Program 2023 was implemented in Sukasari Village, Pulosari District, Pandeglang Regency. The initiative was carried out through a collaboration between Islamic Relief Indonesia and Yayasan Pembangunan Citra Insan Indonesia (YPCII) to support healthier, more resilient, and sustainable communities through improved access to essential water and sanitation services.

The program focused on increasing access to safe drinking water and improved sanitation facilities. Reliable access to clean water plays a crucial role in improving public health, reducing the risk of waterborne and sanitation-related diseases, and supporting daily household, educational, and community activities.

In addition to serving local residents, the program also benefited one Islamic boarding school and two elementary schools within the project area. Improved water and sanitation facilities helped create healthier and safer learning environments for students, teachers, and school communities, extending the program’s impact beyond individual households.

The Save Water Provision and Sanitation Program 2023 successfully reached 528 families, benefiting approximately 2,080 people. The initiative demonstrates how sustained collaboration can generate meaningful improvements in community health, environmental quality, and long-term resilience.
