Save Water Provision and Sanitation Program 2021
The Save Water Provision and Sanitation Program 2021 was implemented in Cibadak Village, Cimanggu District, Pandeglang Regency. The initiative was carried out through a collaboration between Islamic Relief Indonesia and Yayasan Pembangunan Citra Insan Indonesia (YPCII) to improve community access to safe, reliable, and sustainable water and sanitation services.
Using a community-based development approach, the program focused on expanding access to clean water facilities and improved sanitation services for beneficiary households. The availability of better water infrastructure enabled communities to meet their daily needs more effectively while reducing health risks associated with inadequate water and sanitation access.
Beyond serving local residents, the program also benefited students of Islamic boarding schools and neighboring communities that relied on the available facilities. Improved access to these essential services helped strengthen public health, increase productivity, and enhance the overall well-being of families and communities.
The Save Water Provision and Sanitation Program 2021 reflects a shared commitment to inclusive and sustainable community development. Through collaboration and active community participation, the program contributed to creating healthier, more resilient, and more sustainable rural communities.
